If you will graduate from a Japanese university (or equivalent) in March and planning to change your visa status from Student to Work, please note that you should submit your Change of Visa Status application by the end of January in order to start working in April.
From December to March, the Immigration Office is usually very crowded because many students apply to change their visa status from Student to Work. This slows down the screening process, so if you apply after the end of January, you may not receive your Work visa in time for April. Please submit your application for a Change of Visa Status as soon as possible.
